The Office of Health Policy is located in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and is designed to help inform policy that improves the health of America’s children, families, individuals, and communities.
The Office of Health Policy conducts policy research on health care financing, health care access and coverage, public health, and health care quality and outcomes. They work on programs and issues across the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), including Medicare, Medicaid, CHIP, the Exchanges, HRSA safety net programs, and the Indian Health Service.
