Chronic Disease Center Seeking Physician-Scientist; Focus on Health Outcomes Research

The Department of Medicine’s Section of General Internal Medicine and Center for Translational and Policy Research of Chronic Diseases at The University of Chicago is seeking a physician scientist with a focus on health outcomes research for appointment as Assistant Professor.
The physician scientist will devote the majority of his/her time to the development and study of innovative interventions for the care of patients with chronic diseases. Successful candidates will be expected to participate in clinical care and teaching with significant time protected for research. Applicants must have a medical degree, possess excellent clinical and teaching skills, be BC/BE in internal medicine by the time of hire, and be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
