Walgreens has announced the creation of the Center for Health & Wellbeing Research. In doing so, Walgreens has partnered with several academic institutions, including Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, the Scripps Translational Science Institute, the University of California, San Francisco – School of Pharmacy, and the University of Chicago Medicine. Elbert Huang, MD is the lead researcher at the University of Chicago for this collaboration.
