The Center for Translational and Policy Research of Chronic Diseases will host its inaugural research symposium entitled “Multiple Chronic Conditions: Prospects for Research and Reform.” The purpose of the symposium is to convene panelists from federal agencies and the research world in order to have an interactive exchange on the potential solutions for preventing and treating multiple chronic conditions. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Anand Parekh, the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Health (Science and Medicine) who has led the Department of Health and Human Services Initiative on Multiple Chronic Conditions.
