In The Loop, a weekly news show on WYCC, will feature Monica Peek, MD and Elbert Huang, MD. Dr. Peek will discuss her efforts to improve diabetes care and outcomes on the south side of Chicago through the South Side Diabetes Project. Dr. Huang will discuss the state of the disease, including the number of undiagnosed individuals with the disease.
