There is an exciting fellowship opportunity that enables researchers to come to Washington, DC and use population science, outside of the academic setting, to inform public policy and work for one year in a federal agency.
The Population Association of America is a partner organization in the prestigious Science and Technology Fellowship Program of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).  The fellowship offers tremendous professional development and networking opportunities.
PAA is now accepting applications for the 2014-2015 term. The deadline to apply is December 15, 2013.  Letters of recommendation can be submitted until January 15, 2014.  This fellowship is open to doctoral scientists from any discipline relevant to population research, and both early and mid- career professionals are encouraged to apply.
