October is Health Literacy Month!

“Most individuals would benefit from better attention from clinicians in the health system on health literacy—most would benefit from better communication on our end,” says CDRP faculty affiliate Valerie Press, Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Chicago, in Society of Hospital Medicine’s The Hospitalist. “We owe it to our patients to do everything we can to help them understand and identify if they need additional resources.”
